Next crawl: Saturday 3rd May 10am
The Church Crawl was started in 2004 by John Kinross. Interested HHCT friends visit groups of churches to have John or local guides or church wardens point out the more interesting and sometimes hidden facets of the church. We are very lucky now to have Tim Bridges, who works part time for the Victorian Society, as our guide and Lady McFarlane who does a great job of organising everything. Refreshments are usually supplied and a venue for lunch (not provided) is usually found in a beautiful spot. Due to its popularity a bus is laid on at cost to reduce the congestion and parking on the narrow country lanes. After the event the PCCs that participate are given a donation for their trouble.
We will all meet at All Saint’s Church at 10am. FOR 10.30 AM. start. This will be followed by a visit to Brimfield Church and Little Hereford Church in the morning followed by Richard’s Castle Old Church and Orleton Church in the afternoon. The order is yet to be determined. There will be a charge for coach transport which will be determined on the day.
