The Herefordshire Historic Churches Trust (HHCT) helps churches help themselves.
The Trust was founded in 1954 and the beneficiaries are churches in the County of Herefordshire.
The object of the charity is the preservation, repair, maintenance, improvement, upkeep, beautification and conservation of:
• Christian churches in the area of benefit
• Monuments, fittings, fixtures, stained glass, furniture, ornaments, and chattels of such churches or situated in the churchyard thereof.
• ‘Churches’ means any Church (including Cathedral, Abbey, Minster or Priory Church), Chapel or other building used for Christian public worship.
